- Exercise: I'm going to be finishing another marathon in early 2009 and then probably taking a break from marathons for a while and switching to triathlons instead. In addition, I'd like to try that p90x routine and see how that goes. By the end of the year I'd like to bench press a Honda Civic.
- Cooking: Every year I think "Maybe this year I should make one new recipe each day". Well, this year I'll actually do it. I got some good cookbooks and I'll be making 365 new recipes this year. I won't actually do one per day because of travel and diets and all of that, but by Dec 31 2009 I will have tried 365 new recipes.
- Doing more stuff: I saw that Jim Carrey movie "Yes Man" recently and I like the idea behind it. Not necessarily the learning Korean thing, but you get the idea. In general, I'd like to do more and take advantage of more opportunities to see people, do new things and all of that crap. I guess actually following through on this blog is a step in that direction.
Finally, I had Chinese food as my last meal of 2008. My fortune cookie said "Your happiness is intertwined with your outlook on life." Hopefully that's a good sign that I'm ready to start 2009 the right way.

Honda Civic? Is that all you aspire to?
I too typed up some New Year's Resolutions. I am still finalizing...so I'd better hurry! I decided that if I'm not happy with my half marathon time this year I'd take a break next year and do more cross-training. I also want to get started on bike riding; however, know absolutely nothing about it and am scared to go out and try it. I need to start by putting air in the tires, but after your lesson found it to be way more complicated than I remember. I may just take it to mom's one day and you do it and show me on my bike.
365 recipes is a ton! I'm assuming most will be healthy recipes because if not your resolution dealing with health will be much more difficult! I like the idea though, pretty cool.
Well, I'm excited about your blog and will definitely check back. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
How was the marathon Robert?
